‘TIDBIT’ SELECTED AS A QUARTER FINALIST FOR THE BLUECAT SCREENPLAY COMPETITION

 

Safe Hands Productions’ next short film in development has been selected as a quarter finalist in the world renowned Bluecat Screenplay competition for 2025.

Tidbit, written by writer-director duo Henry Leroy Salta and Alexander Tol, is a mixed genre, horror/black comedy, based on the fractured relationship of a young couple, living in London.

The film’s logline reads as follows:

On the eve of their 2nd anniversary, a young couple discover they cannot swallow their dinner. They resort to eating themselves to feed their desperation.

The script, which Leroy-Salta has been working on for four years, was also selected as a finalist for Slick Films’ official shortlist in 2024, a quarter finalist for the Vail Film Fest, a semi-finalist in the Midfest Weirdfest and the Medusa Film Festival, among others.
